The Jenkins Organization, Inc. Hosts Successful Fundraiser for Galveston Police Department
HOUSTON, TX
– October 18, 2018 – THE JENKINS ORGANIZATION, INC., a Houston based self-storage owner, developer and management company operating 52 properties throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Minnesota and Louisiana recently held a successful fundraiser for the Galveston Police Department at its property on Galveston Island, Stewart and 89th Self Storage.
The property hosted a party on Saturday, October 13, 2018 where they sold BBQ and raffle tickets in order to raise money for to buy bullet proof vests for the K-9’s who are a part of the Galveston Police Department. The property raised close to $2,000 in raffle tickets and BBQ ticket sales. As a result, two of the four K-9’s were able to obtain new bullet proof vests.
“We are so proud of our Property Managers, Larry and Jayne Matteson, at Stewart and 89th for planning and implementing such a successful event,” said Courtney Jenkins, Director of Marketing for TJO. “We love giving back to the community, and we were thrilled to have had such a great turnout, as this was the first time we tried an event like this.”
