Anderson Cooper stages a live ‘Storage Wars’ on the set of his hit daytime talk show “Anderson”. StorageMart self storage sponsored the segment in which one lucky bidder walked away with a storage unit full of hidden treasures.
StorageMart sponsored the recent ‘Anderson’s Storage Wars’ segment of “Anderson” which aired today, Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
The cast of A&E’s “Storage Wars” appeared on the show to talk about some of their amazing finds at self storage auctions, including a comic book collection worth $5.4 million. “Anderson” hosted their very own live storage war where audience members competed to get the winning bid on a storage unit.
Imagine the thrill of winning a self storage unit at auction. Like a modern-day treasure chest, storage units contain odds and ends and sometimes hidden gems that bring a windfall of profit to the lucky winning bidder. To the highest bidder of ‘Anderson’s Storage Wars’ went the entire storage unit filled with items including a vinyl record collection valued around $800, over $1,500 of jewelry, a safe containing at least $1,075 in cash, in addition to other items.
The winning bid of $750 will be donated to charity.
StorageMart provided auction items, self storage and moving services to the Anderson Cooper talk show, as well as delivery services to the winning bidder of the storage unit. The self storage company holds monthly storage auctions at Brooklyn storage facilities, as well as other StorageMart locations across the U.S. and Canada.
