Janus International, the leading global manufacturer and supplier of turn-key building solutions and new technology for the self-storage industry, announce a new addition to the Nokē Smart Entry family of products with the release of Nokē Elevate.

This all-new, advanced technology solution provides tenants with easier access to their units with automatic door opening and closing. Nokē Elevate works in conjunction with the Nokē Smart Entry system, with all of the hardware and technology built into the motor itself, eliminating the need for a separate controller while making installation quick and easy. Once tenants are within range of their unit door, they simply tap a button within the facility’s smartphone app, and the door is simultaneously unlocked and opened all the way.

The release of Nokē Elevate arrives at a perfect time for self-storage owners and operators to quickly achieve ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance, meeting certain states’ interpretation of ADA requirements, while also adding an additional layer of security and convenient mobile access. Installation of this automatic door operator also provides operators with yet another way of offering ultra-premium units for tenants that command higher rental rates. Since it can be used with Nokē Smart Entry keypads and entry controllers, Nokē Elevate provides a modern smart entry solution from the front gate to the unit door, and everything in between.
